Regimental tartan shoulder slide as worn primarily in North Africa usually only on one epaulette.
Mc Kenzie tartan so potentially Seaforth or H.L.I.
Wool .
Nicely folded for wear on the shoulder strap.
Never been stitched so likely unused.
Very difficult to find originals of these and this was one of two that came to me with other Seaforth items many years ago...  read more

Deluxe German WW2 Luftwaffe dagger hangers for the 2nd model Officer’s dagger.
Made from zinc with deluxe clips decorated with oak leaves.
Velvet backed straps.
The top clip is marked “U.E.10” and “RZM,” while the bottom clips are both marked “D.R.G.M.”.
One bottom clip absent otherwise V.G.C..

Heavy.
Excellent fine detail.
Voided, slightly domed centre and pierced outer thistles.
Raised jewellers tablet to the back with , "J. Stewart & Son - 88 George St. - Edinburgh"
Edinburgh silver hallmarks for 1924.
Beautifully hand fretted.
No rubbing or damage.

Six early Camerons pipers No.1 tunic buttons.
Close match and all came from an old mothed tunic.
Lozenge shape with St. Andrew in relief.
Larger size for the front.
Good detail.
Possibly also used by the Royal Scots ?

Well this soldier did'nt sit out WW2 !!
Wehrpass with no entries with accompanying document stating " Sgt Hannes Filgis lost his soldbuch in combat and this document acts as a valid stop gap until his replacement can be issued.
It also gives his address AH Strasse - Ottobeuren ( Stuttgart )

2 nice condition enamel mufti badges relating to the Norfolk Rgt.
One with " 1st V.B. Norfolk Reg. Veteran ". Maker mkd. to rear Vaughtons Bhm.They served in the Boer War.
