Very rare Commanding officers silver Georgian shoulder belt plate for the South Lennox Yeomanry Cavalry with h/m's for Birmingham 1799.
Recruited from around the Stirling area , primarily the villages of Gargunnock , Kippen and surrounds.

Lovely age toning.
Attributed to R.S.M. Hugh Black , a veteran of both WW1 and WW2. He was also a P.O.W. in the Great War.
