WW2 SEAFORTH HLDRS. OFFICERS DECALLED TOMMY HELMET

WW2 Seaforth Highlanders officers Combat helmet.
These British officers decalled helmets are the rarest of all WW2 helmets.
Only worn briefly by officers at the outset of the war.
Well detailed Seaforth Highlanders decal in the form of an officers cap badge in gold with red / gold Golphic Crown and gold over blue Gaelic scroll to one side.
Some camo overpaint to the shell over the original factory brown paint.
Liner and chin strap good, shell with some surface rust.
1939 date and maker mkd. ( Helmets Ltd. ? ) to liner strap.
No visible maker marks to the shell which is not unusual on early helmets.
100% original Been There combat helmet.
Super rare.
